Pre-Order Plan: There will be no pre-order on Amazon. ‘The Cad and the Co-Ed’ releases Feb 13th on iBooks, Nook, and Kobo, then it goes away from those retailers forever! It then releases into KU/Amazon Kindle on Feb 14th where it will stay forever.

I’ve read most of your books and I like them but I don’t like being bullied. I don’t buy from Amazon and I already subscribe to your blog and don’t see why I should be pushed into subscribing to your newsletter. I’d like to buy your books at my convenience, not others’. I hope things become simpler and more customer-friendly in the future.

I’m not certain to what you’re referring by being bullied. :-\
Regarding the Cad and the Co-Ed: We were going to release the book directly into Amazon (and therefore Kindle Unlimited), but wanted to give readers on other platforms the opportunity to download the book as well. Amazon’s Kindle Unlimited program requires authors to be exclusive to Amazon (which means I cannot have The Cad and the Co-Ed on iBooks, kobo, nook, et al if the book is part of Kindle Unlimited). We are offering the Cad and the Co-ed on iBooks, kobo, nook as a pre-order in an attempt to be customer-service friendly. The other option would be to not offer it on those websites at all. I don’t want readers on iBooks, kobo, nook to be caught unawares when the Cad and the Co-Ed disappears from those sites on Febraury 13.
Regarding the newsletter: I think (and so far my subscribers seem to think) it’s fun to provide extras, sneak peeks, and special exclusives to newsletter subscribers. I believe it’s a nice way to say thank you for allowing me to invade your email monthly. In no way shape or form is it an attempt to bully readers into joining the newsletter. Nor is my approach to newsletters uncommon; most authors send out exclusives via their newsletter.

I’ve been in new baby fog for the last 3 months, books and reading has taken a major backseat, now I find out I can’t order a book I want to read on my platform?!

Once the Cad and the Co-Ed has been in Kindle Unlimited for 3 months we will put it on all other platforms for a week so that people can read it.
