** BLURB **
There are three things you need to know about Marie Harris: 1) She’s fed up with online dating, 2) She’s so fed up, she’s willing to forego the annoyance and consider more creative alternatives, and 3) She knows how to knit.
After the most bizarre and irritating first date in the history of humankind, Marie is looking for an alternative to men. With the help of her friends, she quickly identifies a few possibilities:
Need a cuddle? Use a professional cuddler. Need affirmation? Get yourself a life coach. Need an orgasm? Try orgasm meditation! Why does she need the hassle of a romantic partner when she can meet all her needs with paid services?
But then her irritating date resurfaces. And he’s not at all the person she thought he was. And he suggests a different—and crazier—solution to her dilemma . . .
As everyone knows (or will soon come to realize), traditional relations between humans are a thing of the past. Robots are our future. And if robots are our future, then why do we need other people at all?
Hi Penny,
I love your books since Neanderthal meets Human. It was refreshing and a smart heroine was amazing. The Element series help solidify you as one of my favorite author that I would buy something no matter what you release lol. The way you write is very different and it was great. However, recent books I’ve notice that there is a lot of chaos in your writing. So much mind dialogue and random phrases that have taken away from the story. It felt tedious to read sometimes. Characters start sounding the same and actions started to become predictable. Especially the heroine, they start acting all similar. I love that you release more books per year but I hope you don’t go overboard and make them redundant with no originality in their character. “Nobody looks good in Leather Pants” is truly my saving grace that I haven’t lost the awe for your writing. I really just want this book more than your upcoming book. Maybe because you release a chapter a amonth that you put more ideas and passion into it. You truly are one of my favorite authors. I met you at a book signing once you probably don’t remember. However, I hope my opinion doesn’t upset you but I really do truly want to see you grow as an author.
Thank you for your kind words and your concern! <3
